Screen Innovations has added its Zen Outdoor Shades features to further enhance KAOS, while extending the maximum size of KAOS from 20 to 24 feet. KAOS (a.k.a., Kick Ass Outdoor Shades) is a patented V-screen retention system that is built tough and holds the shade structure like no other. The new and improved KAOS Outdoor Shade Systems combine the key advantages of SI Zen Outdoor Shades with its KAOS tracks to deliver the best of both worlds, as well as easy installation and smooth maintenance-free operation for years to come.
Unlike other high-wind shading systems, the V-Screen wheel system uses Teflon-coated constant force springs that allow more play during installation, while maintaining a much tighter screen in windy conditions, unlike magnetic tension systems. KAOS also has a décor-oriented, customizable, and architecturally friendly design that is a natural extension of every home.
With the all-new SI Outdoor Motors, KAOS is now compatible Bond and the SI ecosystem, and it is a natural extension for any shade project. KAOS offers diverse control options with SI motors.
Hurricane-approved Kevlar fabric options are available, along with high-wind fabrics. Choose from a box or pocket cassette enclosure, available in multiple colors to match each environment and décor. The KAOS Outdoor Shades are a perfect aesthetic match to SI’s Nano, Niño, and Origami shades, which share the same power and control features.
